How to create a Lesson?

This article will teach you how to create and add a lesson into BuildWitt Training

Steps on how to create a lesson:

1.) Click the "Content Library" tab on the left-hand menu bar and then to your Company Library (between the All Content and BuildWitt library) Screenshot 2023-04-24 at 2.44.00 PM

2.) Click on "Create" and select "Create Lesson" from the drop-down. This will open to a Create a Lesson page.  Screenshot 2023-04-24 at 2.46.34 PM

3.) Create the lesson

1. Choose the type of content you are adding (video, youtube, file, audio, or quiz)

2. If you want to Hide this lesson from non-admin users, check the box

3. Add a lesson name

4. Choose the video you want to upload

5. (Optional) If you want to add a file to go along with the lesson, >add lesson attachment +

6. Add a description of the lesson. Keep it short and sweet!

7. If you have the file for subtitles, hit + 

8. Add tags so that you can find the video faster when you are searching for it

9. Add a Lesson Thumbnail, upload your own, or select from the BuildWitt Photos, color or black and white.

4.) Add a question as an assessment (optional) Screenshot 2023-04-24 at 3.18.54 PM

5.) If you choose to add a question as an assessment:

1. Choose your question type (Multiple choice or True/False or Number Response)

2. Upload an image (optional for when you want to ask questions about the specific image. i.e. "What type of machine is this?"

3. Add the question into the question box

4. Add the answer to the section (be sure to select the correct answer or else it will not let you proceed)

5. If you would like to add additional questions, hit "Add Questions+"

6. When you are done creating your lesson and possibly adding a question, Publish your newly created Lesson!

NOTE: If you want to add more than one question, scroll down and hit "add question" instead of "save" because you will have to go back and edit the lesson to get back to the assessment section.
